As a change of pace, our team was asked to handle the creation of a new groundskeeper’s yard for the Ilam University campus. This involved the construction of full perimeter fencing from corrugated iron, tilt-panel storage boxes for landscaping materials with an engineered concrete floor, and a new barn to store groundskeeping equipment.
This project brought some new complications, which our team rose to the challenge of and provided another successful project to add to our portfolio.
A long-standing customer approached us with a design in mind for the construction of a new car yard to be located in Rolleston. The car yard was to be located on the main road in the industrial area of Rolleston, with a small office building and the entirety of the property to be covered as a commercial car park with surface drainage as required.
We found that as with all our projects, careful planning and close contact with our customer ensured that we created an end product which suited the customers requirements, at a cost that met their budget.
Another challenge our team chose to take on, the overhaul of the Blenheim Road Caltex included the extension and recladding of the fuel station’s canopy and main shop roof. As an added challenge, our team completed the demolition
and rebuild of the new up-to-date carwash building.
This project brought many challenges, including a constant flow of cars and people whilst maintaining a safe working area during the whole project.
As a test of our skills and expertise, we leapt at the opportunity to try our hand at the challenging and time sensitive task of completing the building works involved with a new Fuel Station in Darfield.
The new Allied Service Station required the completion of a significant and complex concrete forecourt, a detailed and somewhat challenging extension to the existing garage workshop, and construction of a new canopy for the fuel station.
With the shop construction due to proceed later in the year, we are proud to say that we met all the tight deadlines, with a quality of work far exceeding that of our clients’ expectations.
This workshop in Sheffield made use of the alternative entrance to their property, and employed a long boundary of mature trees.
The large workshop blends seamlessly into the treeline, and provides the family with a significant addition to their property, both for their family business and for their personal use.
Like all our barns and sheds, this was finished to a high standard, using the best materials providing a high-quality product as at home on a family property, as it is on a large lifestyle block in the country.
A client of ours for many years, we have completed several projects for them, including the construction of two very different barns on his property in Hororata.
The first barn needed to suit multiple uses, as both a storage place for his large horse float, and his horticultural gear. As a Plant nursery owner and manager, he operates his business in and out of the shed we built for him.
When the opportunity presented itself that he could replace his original potting shed due to wind damage he contacted us first, and we ensured we were able to provide him with a new shed to compliment his existing shed. Suitably fit for purpose with a few personal touches like large potting bench and a full plywood interior to ensure it wouldn’t suffer the same fate as the original shed.
